Virginia Bryant Rhodes, 92, Kingsport, died early Saturday morning August 25, 2007.
Born in Mitchell County, North Carolina, she had lived in Kingsport for the past 33 years. Virginia and her husband, Jess Rhodes, owned and operated Rhodes Cloth Shop in Weber City for a number of years.
She was a Baptist and loved gardening.
Her husband, Jess Rhodes preceded her in death.
Surviving are daughter, Betty Garrity and husband, Richard of Kingsport; two granddaughters, Rhonda Garrity, and Leeanne Francis and husband, Maverick all of Johnson City; one grandson, Steve Garrity, Kingsport; and two great-grandsons, Michael Francis and Nathan Garrity.
Friends may call at their convenience at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Red Hill Cemetery in Red Hill, North Carolina.
