Virginia Richards

Virginia "Jennie" Richards, 39, Kingsport, Sullivan Gardens Community, was called home to Heaven on Wednesday, March 28, 2012.

She was a hard working loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend to many. Her favorite hobby was to haul junk.

She was preceded in death by her father, Danny Simmons; grandparents, Roy and Dorothy Stipes and Gladys and Clyde Simmons.

Jennie is survived by her husband, Clayton Richards Jr., Kingsport; her son, Zachary Alan Richards; her mother, Barbara Jobe and husband Harold, Kingsport; two sisters, Kim Crawford and boyfriend, Scott Morgan, Sarah Jobe and boyfriend, Josh Littleton, all of Kingsport; brother, Scotty Jobe and wife Helen, Kingsport; two stepbrothers and one stepsister; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Clayton Richards Sr. and Brenda Richards, Fall Branch; special nieces and nephews, Tyler, Jared, Isaac, Austin, Alexis, Angel, Faith and Brittany; several aunts, uncles and cousins; and special friend and aunt, Freda Stipes Steadman of Kingsport.

Special thanks are given to Dr. Lucinda Miller, Dr. Gurley and all the staff at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center, Sullivan County EMS and Sullivan West Volunteer Fire Department.

A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. Monday at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Fall Branch with Rev. David Morgan officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
