Virginia "Jenny Mae" Shelton

Virginia "Jenny Mae" Shelton, 67, of Gray, went to be with the Lord Tuesday, July 1, 2014.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister. Jenny Mae was like a mother to all.

Jenny Mae was preceded in death by her father, Carl Frank Tittle and mother, Mable Irene Tittle.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Clarence Shelton, Sr.; son, JR Shelton and wife, Stacy, Johnson City; daughter, Sheila Shelton, Kingsport; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins; many, many children that were thought of as grandchildren; brother, James Alvin Tittle and wife Mary, Greeneville; and other family members, Kim Holt and Mark Holt and their families.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Saturday at Hamlett-Dobson Fall Branch Chapel. The service will follow at 8 p.m. with Rev. Larry Bledsoe and Rev. David Vaughn officiating.

Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Limestone. Pallbearers will be JR Shelton, Michael Shelton, Josh Francis, Frank Tittle, Hunter Gillenwater, and Tommy Shelton.
