Vivian Selby

.Vivian Miller Selby died Tuesday, March 1, 2016 in Kingsport, TN. Vivian was born in Keokee, Virginia on May 12, 1914. She was a member of Liberty Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star, L.U.G.E.N.S., and Glen Alpine United Methodist Church. Vivian also served as president of Sullivan High School and Sullivan Elementary School PTA several times.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Willoughby Selby; infant son, James Brady Selby; son, Eugene Allan Selby; parents, Patrick. H.A. Miller and Myrtle Ann Bishop Miller; sister, Mildred "Sankie" Boyd; and brother, Patrick Miller.

Vivian is survived by her sons, Joe Selby, John Selby (Catherine), and David Selby (Sue); thirteen grandchildren; several great-grandchildren: and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Friday from 2-2:45 pm at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. A memorial service will follow at 2:45 pm.
