Vonda Lawson Lewis

Vonda Lawson Lewis, 69, of Kingsport, went to be with the Lord Sunday, February 5, 2012. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister and was a member of Freedom Fellowship Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Spencer Lewis and parents, Jeff and Marjorie Lawson.

Vonda is survived by her daughter, Rita Hutson of Kingsport; four sons, Jeff Hutson, Rick Hutson, Dave Hutson and wife, Linda, Scotty Lewis and wife, Diane, all of Kingsport; twelve grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren, and called "Mom" by many others; siblings, Claude Lawson, Juanita "Bea" Yakley and husband, Ed, Gary Lawson and wife, Pauline; and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 8, 2012 from 5-7:00 pm at Freedom Fellowship Church. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 with Pastor Roy Lane officiating.

Graveside services will be conducted on Thursday, February 9, 2012 at 11:00 at Chestnut Grove Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Hugh Kyle Horton, Jim Greene, Robert Young, Randy Young, Allen Rogers and Justin McDavid.
