W. C. Morelock
W. C. ?Willie? Morelock, 87, Mt. Carmel, passed away Tuesday, September 25, 2007.
He was a lifelong resident of Hawkins County and served in the U. S. Navy. W. C. retired from Mead Paper Company in 1983 after 35 years of service and was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church in Mt. Carmel.
Preceding him in death were a son, Tex Randall Morelock; his parents, Hughie and Margie Morelock; a brother, Melvin Brian Morelock; and a sister, Lucille Morelock.
Surviving are his wife, Pauline Charlton Morelock, Mt. Carmel; two sisters, Ola Crawford, and Dot Blankenbecler, both of Kingsport; three brothers, Glen B. Morelock and Clyde Morelock, both of Kingsport, and Steve Morelock, Rogersville; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Kingsport.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday at Mt. Carmel Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery with Dr. Randall Pressnell officiating. Friends will serve as pallbearers.
