Walter Ray McClure, 48, Kingsport, departed this life on Thursday, December 27, 2007 after a brief unexpected illness. He was born and raised in Fall Branch.

His father, Will Junior McClure preceded him in death.

He is survived by his wife, Eula Ethel McClure; son, Joshua Ray McClure and wife, Kayla McClure; daughter, Brandy Renea Cox and husband, Jamie Cox; granddaughter, Gracie Cox; mother, Shelby Jean McClure; brothers, Danny McClure and wife, Lora Ann, William McClure and wife, Freda; godson, Caden Cain; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Fall Branch or any time at the home at 404 Derby Drive, Kingsport, TN.

Services will follow at 7 p.m. Saturday at the Fall Branch Chapel with Wayne Boswell, Minister officiating.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Oak Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. Family and friends will meet at the funeral home at 1 p.m. Sunday to go in procession.

Pallbearers will be Travis Cain, Eddie Cain, Danny McClure, William McClure, Buddy Crane, Joshua McClure, Nathanael Ledford, and Earl Ferguson.

Honorary pallbearers will be Bradley Ledford, Nicholas Woodard, and Kerry Trivette.
