Wanda Jane Babb, 63, of Kingsport, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 21, 2007, at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center following an extended illness.
A resident of Kingsport most of her life, Wanda married Gary Kay Babb on December 19, 1961, and was a loving wife for 45 years and also a loving mother, grandmother, and sister.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Clyde and Eulola Gilliam; a daughter; Gloria Christine Babb Pugh; and a granddaughter, Brittany Kenese Gilliam.
Surviving are her husband, Gary Kay Babb, Kingsport; a son, Kenneth E. Gilliam and wife, Donna, of Church Hill; two grandchildren, Ashlee Lynn Gillliam and Kenneth Lynn Gilliam; two great-grandchildren, Kenneth K. Gilliam and Catlin Marie Gilliam; a sister, Betty Ruth Gilliam of Weber City; a brother, Dan Gilliam, Kingsport; and several nieces and nephews.
In accordance with Mrs. Babb?s wishes, there will be no funeral services.
