Wanda Adrienne Wilson

Wanda Wilson, 82, of Kingsport, went home to be with the Lord on December 9, 2009. She was a wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Mrs. Wilson was a member of Fordtown Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Mary Etta Gray.

Mrs. Wilson was the loving wife of Earl Wilson of Kingsport for 63 years. Along with her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Patsy Light and husband Phil of Kernersville, NC; son, Bill Wilson and wife Marilyn of Kingsport; three grandchildren, Brian Gavin Wilson and wife Tracy, Damon Light and wife Amy, Derek Light and wife Becky; and great-grandchildren, Brianna Wilson, Blake Wilson, Katelyn Light, Connor Light, and Chance Light.

The family will receive friends on Friday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. A funeral service will follow at 8:00 p.m. with Rev. Bryan Moore officiating.

Burial will be on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at Tri-Cities Memory Gardens. Pallbearers will be Charles Sams, Don Gray, Gerald Gray, Damon Light, Derek Light, and Brian Wilson.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Fordtown Baptist Church, 444 Old Fordtown Road, Kingsport, TN 37663.
