Warren E. Campbell, 86, Kingsport, passed away on Sunday, January 28, 2018. Warren graduated from Dobyns-Bennett High School, class of 1948 and served in the U.S. Air Force for 6 years as a code breaker. He earned a PhD from the University of Tennessee and worked for Tennessee Eastman Company for over 30 years in their research department.
His wife of 53 years, Wanda L. Campbell preceded him in death in 2012.
Warren is survived by 2 sons, John C. Campbell and Lee W. Campbell, and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 3, 2018 from 12-2:00 p.m. at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. The graveside service will follow the visitation at Oak Hill Memorial Park.
