I looked forward to and enjoyed talking to Wayne each Sunday in church for many years. He was always encouraging, informative, and entertaining. We talked about sports, politics, and life. I'll miss those conversations with Wayne, and church will never be the same for me without him being there. I'll also miss that big orange sport coat of his, his guitar playing, and his great editorials in the newspaper. Well done, good and faithful servant. Enter into the joy of the Lord!

I always enjoyed meeting with Wayne at Universal Tool to have parts made for our plant. He was a very nice Christian man, and he worked with my Dad at the Press. My Dad thought a lot of Wayne as well.

I had Wayne as a Junior Acheivement Advisor in 1968/69 in Kingsport. He made a life impression on me as a young high school student and for many others as well. Prayers for the family.
