Wilford Cox, 81, Fall Branch, passed away on Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at Life Care Center of Gray. Born in Fall Branch, he had lived in this area all his life. He worked hard all his life on the family farm and in carpentry work for himself and various construction companies in the area.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilford and Glenna Cox; wife, Glenna Joyce Hicks Cox; and sister, Nancy Forbes.
Wilford is survived by his stepson, Tracy Hicks and wife, Kim; grandchildren, Makayla and Douglas Hicks; son, Frank Cox; daughter, Melinda Cox; brother, Russell Cox; and lifelong friends, John Brown and Leroy Brown.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday at 11:00 am at Logan's Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery with Pastor Kevin Laws officiating. Those planning to attend are asked to meet at the cemetery at 10:50 am.
