William "Bill" Cline, 84, of Kingsport, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 8, 2017. Born in Hawkins County, he had resided most of his life in Kingsport.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Pauline Cline; parents, J.W. and Martha Jenkins Cline; four brothers, Roy Cline, Wayne Cline, Ralph Cline, and Walter Cline; and one sister, Alice Ann Cline.
Bill is survived by his son, Leon Cline; three daughters, Barbara Richards and husband Danny, Joan Sexton and husband Terry, and Irmagard Lechenaur and husband, Hansi; eight grandchildren, Karen and husband Alan, Michael and wife Linsday, Will, Brandon, Briana, Hansi, Jr., Sabina, and Karin; ten great-grandchildren; four brothers, Everett Cline, David Cline, Donald Cline and wife Debbie, Jimmy Cline and wife Betty; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, April 11, 2017, at Bloomingdale Baptist Church. The funeral service will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Pastor Phil Whittemore officiating.
Graveside Services will at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, April 12, 2017, at Larkins Cemetery with Military Rites to be conducted by the American Legion Posts 3/265.
Pallbearers will be Leon Cline, Will Cline, Terry Sexton, Brandon Sexton, Danny Richards, and Michael Richards.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bloomingdale Baptist Church, 3220 Bloomingdale Pike, Kingsport, TN 37660.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Fresenius Kidney Care and Preston Place Assisted Living staff and residents, and church family and friends.
