William C. Childress
William C. Childress, 56, of Kingsport went to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 18, 2010 at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Jeanette Childress and a grandson, Kane Childress.
Survivors include his wife of 25 years, Rhonda Renea Childress of Kingsport; daughter, Audrey Stanton of Kingsport; four sons: Travis Childress of Kingsport, David Perkins and wife, Bonnie of Kingsport, Phillip Childress and wife, Tracy of Kingsport, Adam Childress of Kingsport; brother, Eddie Childress of Kingsport; grandchildren: Alana Stanton, Nathan Perkins, Hannah Logan, Lauren Childress, Brandon Childress, Blake Childress, Hunter Childress; and several extended family and friends.
The family will receive friends from 5:00-6:00 p.m. at Hamlett-Dobson, Kingsport. His wishes were to be cremated; there are no other services at this time.
