William Bill Collins

William ?Bill? B. Collins of Kingsport, TN, died Wednesday, April 25, 2007, surrounded by loved ones.

Bill was born in Macon, Georgia, on July 30, 1935, and graduated from Lanier High School in Macon. He attended Florida State and Auburn and was a former member of the Navy Reserves. He retired as
FAA Facilities Manager for Tri-City Airport in Kingsport, was a 32nd degree Mason, a member of Jericho Shriners, and a member of the Indian Springs Baptist Church where he participated in the church choir and many mission projects.

Bill gave his many talents to family, friends, and strangers and will be forever missed by all.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Willie B. Collins and Anita Y. Collins.

Surviving are his wife, Ann Little Collins; his children, William A. ?Buster? Collins, Susan Collins Osley and husband, Don; stepchildren, Shelia Neely and husband, Jeff, and Kim Smith and husband, James; grandchildren, Kristen Osley Whited and husband, Josh and Adam Osley and wife, Ashley; step-grandchildren, Candace and Cole Neely, Haylee, Jaymee, and Sam Smith; and a sister, Gayle Collins Edwards and husband, Tommy of Lizella, GA.

The family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday at Indian Springs Baptist Church with funeral services to follow at 8:00 p.m. at the church. Dr. Roc Collins will officiate.

There will be another service at Sharon Presbyterian Church in Magee, Mississippi, at 3:00 p.m. Monday with Kyle Smith officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.

Honorary pallbearers will be the men of Indian Springs Baptist Church Choir.
