William G. (Bill/Buster) McMurray
William G. (Bill/Buster) McMurray, 67, passed away Saturday, December 30, 2017, at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center after an extended illness. He was a retired construction worker.
He was preceded in death by parents, Lloyd and Stella Sims McMurray; and infant brother and sister.
He is survived by son, Timothy Scott McMurray (Kristi); sisters, Barbara Jean Hughes, Shirley Wright (Bob), and Peggy Jo McMurray; one niece, Elissa Hughes; two nephews, Marty Hughes, and Douglas Wright (Pam); one great nephew, all of Kingsport.
Per his wishes, he will be cremated.
Graveside services will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Thursday, January 4, 2018 at Mountain Home National Cemetery with Pastor Stanley Sims officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Shriner's Hospital in Greeneville, South Carolina, 950 W Faris Rd, Greenville, SC 29605.
