William "Bill" Green

William "Bill" Green, 63, of Kingsport, passed away Sunday, August 26th peacefully at his home. He was born in Kingsport and was a lifelong resident. Bill retired from Sullivan County EMS with 23 years of service and was an employee of Hunt and Williams with 41 years of service.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Maynard Green and Roberta Green Bledsoe, and two grandparents.

Bill is survived by his wife of 41 years, Victoria Green of Kingsport; daughter, Lisa K. Gilliam of Gate City; sons, Stephen Sanders of Kingsport and Mark Green of Kingsport; three grandchildren, Kaylee Bishop and husband, Derek, Adam Gilliam and Grace Green two great-grandchildren, Scout Bishop and Walker Bishop; four sisters, Polly Daniel and husband, Jimmie of Gray, Marsha Davis and husband, David of Kingsport, Verna Spears and husband, Roy of Church Hill, and Sherrie Holland and husband, Gary of Kingsport; aunt, Betty Klepper and husband, Coy of Kingsport; and several nieces and nephews; and life-long friend, Eddie Williams.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 29th from 6-8:00 pm at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Kingsport. A Celebration of Life will follow at 8:00 pm with Pastor Alan Buckles officiating.
