William T. "Bill" Haynes

William T. "Bill" Haynes, 84, of Kingsport, passed away on Wednesday, December 11, 2013, at Indian Path Medical Center. He was a life-long resident of Kingsport and had retired from the MEAD Paper Corporation following 43 years of service. Bill had served in the US Air Force. He attended Prospect United Methodist Church in Yuma, VA.

He was preceded in death by his parents T. and Allie Haynes.

Bill is survived by his wife of 58 years, Cathy "Red" Haynes, Kingsport; three sons, Bill Haynes and wife, Natalie, Lake Placid, FL, Rusty Haynes, Kingsport, and Ron Haynes and wife, Carol, Kingsport; two grandsons, Kevin Haynes and Eric Haynes; one sister, Mildred Thompson, Kingsport; and two nephews.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, December 13, 2013, at Hamlett-Dobson, Kingsport. The funeral service will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Brad Stapleton officiating.

The graveside service will be at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 14, 2013, at Holston View Cemetery.
