William "Bill" A. Roberts

William "Bill" A. Roberts, 55, of Baileyton, went to be with the Lord Sunday morning, March 24, 2013 at his home. Born in Laurel, Maryland, he had resided in the Baileyton area most of his life. He had worked for Thouin Enterprises for over 30 years. Bill enjoyed woodworking and was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack Harvey and Dottie Jo Roberts.

Bill is survived by his wife, Phyllis Roberts; six daughters, Margaret Wallace and husband, Chris Lambert, Frances Wynn, Christie Roberts and Tony Rembold, Billie McClain and Christopher Whitener, Ashley Ramey, and Chantal Carrico; seven sons, Thomas Ramey, William Ramey and wife, Michele Riddle, Christopher Ramey and Danielle Sanders, Mark Haynes, Matthew Haynes, and twins, Gage and Corbin Ramey; five sisters, Connie Gruber and T.C., Ellen Roberts and husband, Stacey Ennis, Mary Stone and husband, Graham, Helen Hall and husband, Louis, and Ina Roberts; four brothers, Alvin Roberts, and wife, Brenda, Ed Roberts and wife, Mary Lou, Johnny Roberts, and Jackie Roberts; mother-in-law, Carrie Ramey; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will receive friends at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Fall Branch on Friday, from 4-6:00 pm.
