William Robert Smith, 64, Kingsport, passed away Friday July 17, 2009 at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center.
Born in Corning, NY, he had resided in Kingsport since 1995. William had worked for Brock Construction and was an avid golfer. He was a wonderful husband and father.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Chrissy Smith; and parents, Eldon and Olga Smith.
Surviving are his wife, Ellen Smith, Kingsport; three daughters, Heidi Basham, Corning, NY, Cady Smith, Corning, NY, and Langz Volpe, Rochester, NY; son, Robert Smith, Corning, NY; step-son, Trinity Absher and Devin Lane, Kingsport; eight grandchildren; and one step-granddaughter.
Services will be held in Corning, NY at a later date.
