Willie Mae Armentrout, 84, of Johnson City, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 26, 2012 at NHC Nursing Home in Johnson City.
Born October 22, 1927 in Washington County, TN, Willie Mae was the daughter of the late George and Trula Mohlar.
Willie Mae was a member of Cedar Creek Baptist Church and loved cooking and canning for her family. She lived in the Fairview Community for 27 years and lived in Harmony for 12 years before moving to Johnson City.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Armentrout; her sisters, Georgia Mohlar and Nelda Runion; and her brother, Johnny Mohlar.
Survivors include her two sons, George Armentrout and wife Merle of Tacoma, Washington, Mark Armentrout of Johnson City; two daughters, Ginger Hood and husband Troy of Fall Branch, Rhonda Depew and husband Richard of Fall Branch; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, June 29th at Sulphur Springs Cemetery with Rev. Victor Wallace officiating. Family and friends will gather at the cemetery at 9:45 a.m.
Family members and friends will serve as pallbearers.
