Willie V. Arnold

Willie V. Arnold, 88, Mount Carmel went to be with the Lord on Friday, June 28, 2013, at Indian Path Medical Center. She was born in Scott County Virginia and had resided in Hawkins County for the last several years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Church Hill. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Roy Arnold; daughter, Arbuta Trussell; grandsons, Jeff Trussell and Duane Mounger; sister, Louella Carter; and brother, Edwin Seals.

Willie is survived by her daughter, Sharleen Arnold, Kingsport; sons, Garry Arnold and wife, Susan, Kingsport, Rickie Arnold and wife, Sue, Kingsport, Stevie Arnold and wife, Jennifer, Mount Carmel, and Danny Whited (like a son) and wife, Linda, Kingsport; eleven grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., on Monday, July 1, 2013, at Hamlett-Dobson Chapel, Kingsport. The funeral service will follow at 7:00 p.m.

Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 2, 2013, at McPheeter's Bend Baptist Church Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
