Wilma Rogers Fish, 65, Kingsport, passed away unexpectedly Saturday April 7, 2007 at Indian Path Hospital.
Born in Washington County, TN, she was raised in the Eastern Star community and had resided in Kingsport most of her life.
Wilma was a graduate of Sulphur Springs High School and the Whitney School of Business.
Mrs. Fish retired from Hewlett-Packard after several years of service. She was a member of Midfield Free Will Baptist Church.
She was loved by all who knew her and gave of herself in all she did.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Fish; parents, Arthur and Fay Rogers; and several other family members.
Surviving are two sisters, Janice Troxell, Gray, and Hope Bowen and husband, Glen, Church Hill; one special step-grandson, Shane Starke and wife, Merry, and their son, Jordan; three step-grandchildren; one niece, Kristi Campbell; one nephew, Andy Troxell; one great-nephew, Christopher Campbell; three special friends, Pam, Norma, Vanessa; a host of other friends too numerous to mention; and her devoted cat, Pepper.
The family will receive friends Monday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. Services will be at 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Billy Gragg and Rev. Kevin Rose officiating.
Graveside services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at Eastern Star Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Larry Nelson officiating.
Pallbearers will be Bo Wheelock, Chad Smith, Jerome Necessary, Jerry Williams, Andy Troxell, Brandon Hite, Bruce Roberts, and Tony Brown. Honorary pallbearers will be Chris Smith, Bill Dingus, Lynn Smith, Shane Starke, and Jackie Harr.
