Wilmer C. Mull, Jr., 73, Kingsport, passed away Saturday March 15, 2008 after a lengthy illness.
Wilmer was a devoted husband. He enjoyed the outdoors, along with woodcarving. He loved and enjoyed his three dogs.
Mr. Mull was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He retired from Mead Corporation after 33 years of service.
He was preceded in death by his parents, W. C. Sr. and Myrtle Copas Mull; sister, Dorothy Cain; and brother, Walter Ray Mull.
Surviving are his wife Margaret McDavid Mull, Kingsport; daughter, Pam Mull, Johnson City; four sisters, Mabel Lauer and husband Bud, Phoenix, AZ, Barb Ellington and husband, Don, Lafayette, IN, Pat Scott and husband, Doug, Gray, and Gay Smalling and husband, Tom, Kingsport; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Monday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Kingsport. Services will be at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Joe Byrd officiating.
Music will be provided by Steve Taylor.
Graveside services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at Oak Hill Memorial Park.
Honorary pallbearers will be Junior Grills, Randy Scott, Rob Scott, Bobby Cain, and Kenneth Wilkerson.
