Hugh Wilson Patton, 86, died Wednesday, November 5, 2008 in Alpharetta, GA.
He was a graduate of Middle Tennessee State University and Vanderbilt University. He was a former Director of Research at Tennessee Eastman Co. Most recently Dr. Patton was a member of Northminster Presbyterian Church in Roswell, GA with his three daughters and families. He was a former member and elder in First Presbyterian Church, Kingsport, TN.
Surviving are four daughters, Ann Patton Henley, Atlanta, GA; Paigeand Wayne Edwards, Atlanta, GA; Beth and Kyle Allen, Cary, NC; and Barbara and Terry Christopher, Atlanta, GA; ten grandchildren Jason, Drew and Diane, and Allison Henley, Lindsey and Lauren Edwards, Courtney, Elizabeth and Mark Allen, and Todd and Chad Christopher; and two sisters, Shannon McDonald, Chattanooga, TN, and Jean Nisbet, Sanford, NC.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Northminster Presbyterian Church, Roswell, GA, with Rev. Susan Haynes officiating. The family will receive friends at the church immediately following the Memorial Service.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Oak Hill Memorial Park with Dr. Kyle Allen officiating.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Northminster Presbyterian Church, 2400 Old Alabama Road, Roswell, GA 30076.
