Winifred Myrtle Wooten, 82, of Kingsport, died Thursday morning, December 13, 2007, at Brookhaven Manor after an extended illness.
Born in Austinville, Virginia, she had resided in Kingsport most of her life. Mrs. Wooten was a Baptist.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Walter and Clarise Bralley; sisters, Louise Bralley, Georgitha
Bralley; a brother, Bruce Bralley; and her husband, John Wooten on June 24, 2007.
Surviving are a sister-in-law, Shirley and Howard Dorton; several nieces and nephews; and special friends, Herbert and Pauline Giroux and Brian Beckett.
The family will receive friends from Noon until 1:00 p.m. Saturday at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Kingsport. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home with Rev. Lonnie ?Buddy? Wooten, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Memorial Park.
